Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Balaji Sivasakthi ("I", "me"), the independent developer of NotchDude, for the NotchDude app ("the app") downloaded from notchdude.com. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

Your licence

• I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Macs you own or control.
• Free version: you may use the free features for as long as you like.
• Pro trial: every Pro feature is available for 14 days after you first open the app. Afterwards the app continues with the free features.
• Pro licence: a purchased licence key unlocks Pro on up to 3 Macs at a time. You can move it by deactivating it on one Mac and activating it on another.
• A Pro licence is a one-time purchase that includes future updates to the app and to its Pro features for as long as I develop it.

What you may not do

• Share, publish, sell, or rent your licence key, or use it on more Macs than it allows.
• Bypass or disable licence checks, or reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it.
• Redistribute the app or modified copies of it.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, taxes, and invoicing under its own terms. Prices may be adjusted for your country, and local taxes are added at checkout. Your licence key is sent to the email address you use at checkout. If something goes wrong with a purchase, email me and I'll help.

Other services

Some features work with apps and services from other companies, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Claude Code, and Codex. NotchDude is not affiliated with or endorsed by them, their names are trademarks of their owners, and your use of their services is governed by their own terms.

Privacy

How the app handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. I work hard to keep it reliable, but I don't promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and my total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.

Ending this agreement

This licence ends automatically if you break these terms. You can end it at any time by deleting the app.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
